Job Description
As a Manager, Business Transformation Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in leading and managing business process improvement projects. You'll work side-by-side with key business and technical stakeholders, bridging the gap between business and technology to ensure solutions provide value and support the ever-changing needs of organizations.
This role requires on-site presence at our client's location in Richmond for 2 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
Quickly familiarize yourself with client business challenges and technologies to act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor
Lead and drive process improvement projects, including enhancements to processes and facilitating tools
Analyze processes to identify improvement opportunities and provide strategic recommendations
Play a key role in all phases of the system delivery lifecycle
Assist the technical team in solution design, including data modeling and interface design
Analyze data structures and quality to understand their impact on business objectives
Evaluate current organizational states and work with clients to define desired future states
Perform gap analysis and propose alternative solutions to fulfill business needs
Coordinate integration and user acceptance testing activities
Elicit detailed requirements using various methods
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) highly preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Process Engineer on IT-related projects
Familiarity with multi-system integration and enterprise technologies
Experience creating sequence, data flow, and process flow diagrams
Understanding of object-oriented development practices and modern IT architecture solutions (Cloud, APIs, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to write and perform basic SQL queries
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and agile project management software (e.g., JIRA)
Software development work or education experience preferred
Prior consulting experience preferred
