We are looking for a Manager of our Analytics team that supports the System-wide Quality Improvement work at Comagine Health. This person will need to collaborate with multiple program managers and external partners as well as maintain and nurture a positive and productive team environment. This person will have extensive healthcare data experience. Examples of preferred Data experience include:
- Claims Data
- Hospital Discharge Data
- HIE Data
- Health Equity Date
- Nursing Home
- EHR
- Perform and oversee day-to-day operations of the analytics team that supports various contracts across the System-wide Quality Improvement (SQI) portfolio of work, including population health, patient safety, community health, and end-stage renal disease.
- Lead the team in developing and deploying analytic plans in all projects in collaboration with external and internal partners, including the Program Evaluation team.
- Design and execute analytic strategy in business development proposals and newly funded work, including defining the analytic services needed to successfully execute existing and new contracts, alignment of existing regional and state initiatives with national strategies, and solving critical data problems.
MA/MS in a related field
Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in related field may be substituted.
Typical Job Duties:
- Conducts a variety of personnel management activities, including but not limited to recruitment, selection, on-boarding, training, evaluation, and separation, according to Comagine Health policy and practice and in collaboration with leadership and Human Resources.
- Delivers, or ensures delivery, of initial orientation and training (including review of direct reports’ job descriptions), plus on-going training.
- Ensures availability of procedures, technology, and other resources necessary to conduct work activities; provides subject matter expertise as applicable.
- Develops and monitors professional development goals and objectives; assigns work and delegates authority appropriate for established, job-related duties, responsibilities, and qualifications.
- Provides timely, continuous recognition and feedback using objective, job-related data, and observations (including documented performance appraisals); timely initiates performance improvement opportunities in alignment with Comagine Health policy and practice.
As this is a fully remote position within the United States your primary residence is considered for compensation:
$115k - $150k
Required Skills
- Ability to supervise others (set work standards and expectations; coach, counsel, and mentor; assess performance and deal with issues; recognize accomplishments).
- Ability to delegate work and authority to others to coordinate multiple, simultaneous tasks in a team environment.
- Expertise in the design of analytic strategies for projects, potentially including quality improvement, analytic services, care management and research, particularly in healthcare settings.
- Proficiency in presenting complex information in a clear and compelling format.
- Knowledge of statistics or biostatistics and the appropriate application of analytic methods
- Expertise in manipulating and analyzing large datasets, including knowledge and experience with relational databases.
- Advanced knowledge of the appropriate visual display of data, including competency in Tableau/Power BI or comparable applications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in programming (SAS, SQL, R, Python, or other languages) Study design (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present statistical and data information effectively plus market quality internally as well as with community partners. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

- 3 years supervisory experience
