The Accounts Receivable Manager supervises and coordinates accounts receivable activities, processing payments, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts. What you will do – Essential Responsibilities
As an Accounts Receivable Manager, you will:
· Oversee order to cash cycle activities while ensuring accounting accuracy and completeness; manage resources appropriately to balance workload and ensure key performance metrics are met
· Drive team performance by managing the on-boarding & training process, setting clear expectations, and measuring results; participate in the performance management process, including performance reviews, team & individual development
· Identify training, education, and upskilling needs within the team; deploy as needed to ensure operational targets are maintained as well as accounting policies and procedures are followed appropriately
· Collaborate with the team and business partners to identify, design, and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and effectiveness
· Oversee, support, and perform accounting activities, including month end close journal entries, account reconciliations and balance sheet fluctuation explanations; manage the monthly close process
· Analyze department metrics, including staff productivity and key performance metrics; recommend solutions to drive execution or improve performance
· Lead and participate as a subject matter expert for accounts receivable in projects that span multiple departments and/or the company as new initiatives are deployed to meet business goals
· Assist the Senior Manager and/or Director with staff communications, issue resolution, goal setting, and maintaining fiduciary duties and accounting standards

Internal Candidates: Successful completion of Entry MAP or MDP required
Education and/or Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance preferred, or equivalent experience required
· 5+ years of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Internal Controls, Accounting Compliance, and/or a multi-state payroll environment, or equivalent experience required
· 2+ years of experience leading teams to achieve common goals, including managing the work of direct and/or indirect reports highly preferred
· Strong accounting skills including general knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
· Knowledge of Gramm Leach Bliley Act (GLBA), Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and/or Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) is a plus
· Accredited Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable Manager Certification preferred
· Project management experience preferred
· Experience and knowledge in Cloud-based ERP solutions, Workday, robotics, OCR technologies, and various automations desirable
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook) required
