Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to oversee our Accounting and Finance department. As the Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial operations. Your primary goal will be to optimize financial performance, drive business growth, and provide strategic guidance to senior management.
Responsibilities
Financial Management:
Develop and implement financial strategies, objectives, and policies to ensure effective financial management and control.
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions to achieve financial goals.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies.
Manage cash flow, credit, and risk management activities.
Accounting Operations:
Supervise the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Lead the financial planning and budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial targets and allocate resources.
Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management.
Provide recommendations for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial performance and identify areas of concern or improvement.
Team Management and Development:

Qualifications

Proven experience (8+ years) as an Accounting Manager or similar role, preferably in a corporate setting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Proficient in using accounting software and ERP systems.
