Boats Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced manager to lead our dynamic team of account managers. Bring your proven track record in team leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of account management principles to this highly visible role! What You’ll Do:

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the account management team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance and productivity.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting open communication and teamwork.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address issues, and celebrate successes.
  • Identify performance gaps and develop action plans to address them. ○ Recognize and reward outstanding performance to motivate and retain top talent. ○ Collaborate with other departments to align account management strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Prepare regular reports on team performance, client satisfaction, and key metrics for senior management.


Coaching and Development:

  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to team members.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one coaching conversations to discuss individual performance, career aspirations, and development opportunities.
  • Create and maintain individual professional development plans for each team member, focusing on skill enhancement and career growth.
  • Organize training sessions and workshops to address skill gaps and enhance team capabilities.


Client Relationship Management:

  • Oversee the management of key client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Handle escalated client issues and work towards a timely and effective resolution.
  • Ensure the team is consistently providing exceptional service and meeting client expectations.


What You Should Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team, with a track record of achieving performance targets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Experience with CRM software (we use Salesforce, but any others are ok) and other account management tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • We are a Hybrid organization and bring the office together each week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. At this time, we are unable to offer relocation assistance.
