The Management Coordinator oversees the functioning of the fabric department within the company. This position demands meticulous attention to fabric details, robust organizational abilities, and adeptness in multitasking.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving of Fabrics (Physical Labor)
Identify received packages.
Assign a tag number to each package and attach it.
Fill in information on the packing list.
Place the packages in the fabrics department.
Receiving of Fabrics (Electronically)
Enter information into a spreadsheet.
Take pictures of the packing list and fabric samples.
Email project managers with images of the packing list and fabric swatches for further instructions.
Shipping of Fabrics (Overseas and to Mexico) (Electronically)
Prepare shipping documents (Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, SLI).
Obtain quotes from different carriers.
Request shipping approvals.
Coordinate pickups.
Send shipping documents to the team.
Follow up on shipments.
Shipping of Fabrics (Overseas and to Mexico) (Physical Labor)
Create and attach identification labels to fabric rolls.
Prepare pallets if necessary.
Load pallets/trucks and sign shipping documents.
Office and Inventory Maintenance
Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the office and inventory deposit areas.
Take out trash after each shift.
Minimum Of 5 Years’ Experience In Shipping/logistics (Required)
Knowledge in fabrics.
Proficiency in Excel and Word.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform physical labor including lifting and moving packages and pallets.
Full-time on-sight*
Salary Range $24 -$30 per hour depending on experience.
