We are actively seeking a highly skilled Finance & Accounting Professional to become an integral part of our Finance Consulting Practice at MMC Consulting. With this opportunity, you will play a pivotal role in client services, seamlessly integrating into our clients' teams and projects. Your main objective will be to deliver specialized finance and accounting support and tailoring solutions to meet the unique needs of their organization.

As a Management Consultant, you will be supervised and developed by an MMC Leader throughout your engagements. With their support, you will serve clients in finance, accounting, & operations. Your responsibilities will be related to interim finance leadership, managing teams, improving internal processes, facilitating assessments, making client recommendations, and more. Job Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in accounting or related field, MBS preferred
• Prior CPA firm experience or professional experience working on projects/engagements
• Ability to effectively manage a team
• Knowledge & experience making client recommendations and suggestions for improvement
• 8+ years of years relative work experience functioning as a Controller, Finance Manager, or Senior Manager
• Thorough working knowledge of accounting software and systems, QuickBooks experience expected
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

Preferred Experience:

• CPA certification and public accounting experience preferred
• Relevant experience in multiple industries is preferred
• MBS preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide interim financial leadership to guide organizations through transition periods or during executive vacancies
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to ensure the company's financial health and stability
• Manage client engagements while leading a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and support
• Lead finance assessment and transformations by identifying inefficiencies in financial and accounting processes and implementing improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
• Conduct financial assessments and analyses to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement
• Oversee end-to-end implementation of financial systems, lead the planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with industry standards.
• Use financial data to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients or internal stakeholders
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their financial needs, objectives, and challenges

Compensation:

• $110,000 - $140,000 depending on qualifications
• Billing Bonus Opportunities and Utilization Bonuses

• Travel to MMC Office and client locations will be expected
