Evergreen Center is currentlyseeking a temporaryMaintenance Technician.The duration of this position has not yet been determined.

Responsibilities include providing general maintenance to the interior and exterior of the building and grounds, maintaining maintenance facility in an organized and safe manner, providing all on-call responsibilities, snow plowing/ice controlafter normal working hours, on a rotating basis.

, Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Knowledge of interior and exterior facility maintenance, minor construction and custodial procedures
• Experience in repair of electrical, plumbing, heating systems, painting, tile, carpentry
• Valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check

Ensure that you meet the following eligibility requirements:

• You are a current, regular full- or part-time, substitute or temporary Evergreen Center employee.
• You have been in your current position for at least six months. (Exceptions to this six-month requirement can be made by your current supervisor and should be consistent with company business needs.)
• You have had a current performance evaluation which has rated your job performance as "Favorable" or better (rating 4 or higher).
• You are currently not on a Corrective Action Plan (CAP).
• You must be in compliance with the agency's requirement for all in-service training.
• You meet the qualifications listed for the position on the job posting.
