About The Role

We're seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our thriving vacation rental company. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our property maintenance efforts, ensuring our guests enjoy comfortable and well-maintained accommodations. Your expertise and attention to detail will directly contribute to creating exceptional experiences for our visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently complete maintenance service requests and work orders
• Perform both routine and non-routine maintenance tasks
• Conduct minor repairs on plumbing systems, cabinetry, electrical components, and HVAC systems
• Implement preventative maintenance procedures to keep our properties in top condition
• Install and repair various lock systems, including electronic and Wi-Fi entry systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with wireless networks, Wi-Fi, cable television wiring, and remote systems
• Participate in on-call rotations to address urgent maintenance needs
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager on additional projects as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of maintenance experience
• At least one year of experience in the vacation rental or hospitality industry preferred
• Proficiency with small hand and power tools
• Knowledge of electronic lock systems (e.g., Kaba, Sledge, Yale) is a plus
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent multitasking abilities
• Reliable personal transportation for traveling between properties
• Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to pass a background check
  
  

Physical Requirements

This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to:

• Stand or walk for up to 80% of the workday
• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs
• Perform tasks involving stooping, bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching
• Work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to the elements and moderate noise levels
  
  

Work Schedule

Full-time position with varying hours based on business needs. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required.
