Position Overview
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll perform a variety of mechanical tasks to install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot plant equipment and site facilities. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring our operations run efficiently and comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of process equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems such as pumps, gear reducers, fans, centrifuges, boilers, compressors, and vacuum systems
Collaborate with equipment manufacturers and vendors to resolve complex issues and source necessary parts
Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WIs)
Utilize our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders efficiently
Participate in and support ongoing training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
Contribute to our site safety programs and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Engage in failure analysis processes to improve equipment reliability and performance
Support our Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Technical degree in a mechanical field preferred
1-3 years of mechanical experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing operation
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex equipment issues
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary for each task
