1 Night position 6pm-630am Starting pay is $36.56 with $1.50 pay differential
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician one is responsible to Repair/Install and Maintain Plant Equipment, complete required Predictive Maintenance activities on a routine schedule and always strive to prevent unplanned breakdowns.
Observe the daily manufacturing process and communicate and/or implement improvements to the operation
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices when performing the requirements of Reliability Technician
Visually inspect the manufacturing line and communicate deficiencies with operations and maintenance
Complete work orders as assigned
Participate and help others and demonstrate the values of respect and support
Attend maintenance DDS meetings, and mechanic to mechanic shift hand offs
Review log books form previous shifts both in operations and maintenance
Locate and identify spare parts by using the cmms system in the store room
Perform lubrication on equipment following the plant lubrication standards
Participate in the developing of PM's by suggesting new tasks, changes and hours to complete to the planner and team leader
Develop BDA's with robust action plans and then complete those plans
Contribute by participating with the AM team and performing tasks
Correct unsafe and quality issues and conditions asap.
Install, examine, inspect, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures PLC & PID controllers and pipe, and electrical systems
Troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical problems using ladder diagrams, schematics, PID and or CMMS
Cycle equipment or system to ensure safe and correct operation, to be able to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Set up and safely operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill press and milling machine to repair or fabricate parts as needed
Maintain maintenance area in a clean and orderly fashion; keep work area clean at all times.
Operate a forklift and other heavy machinery whenever it is applicable
Assist, if necessary, in preparation of the weekly maintenance work schedule in conjunction with the Maintenance Supervisor and Operations
Provides insight on the scope of all corrective work orders and orders parts and materials to ensure the job is completed in a timely manner
Assists the Maintenance Planner, Team Leader or Buyer and Peers with accomplishing the tasks at hand in a timely manner
Works with Operations, and Maintenance management to identify areas of opportunity to schedule work during periods of downtime
Participates in weekly, bi-weekly and monthly Predictive Maintenance functions such as vibration analysis, Infrared Scans & oil analysis to prevent unplanned breakdowns
Prepares reports for the Maintenance team as necessary for compliance and budgetary requirements
Assist with maintenance activities as needed but not limited to PM's and repairs.
Basic understanding of the wastewater system and ability to perform required daily checks on plant utilities equipment.

EDUCATION And / Or EXPERIENCE
" High school diploma or equivalent
" Electrical/Mechanical background necessary
" Apprenticeship program or technical background preferred
" Above average computer skills including MS Word & MS Excel
" 3-5 years of experience with computerized CMMS work order system preferred

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Multi-craft/multi-skilled with expertise in electrical, electrical controls, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics and fabrication
Working and practical knowledge of plant utility systems, (including boiler systems, compressed air systems, water filtration, waste water treatment) and Refrigeration systems.
Working knowledge of PLC's, VFD's, Servo's and plant automation systems
Working knowledge of National, State, Local building codes, OSHA and standard industry safety rules/regulations
Previous experience with industrial controls using Allen Bradley control platforms, Motor Controls (Servo and VFD) a definite plus
Ability to work various shifts
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, mechanical and electrical drawings, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to fill out routine reports, correspondence documents and to speak effectively when conveying information to other employees. Should have good oral/written communication skills and possess tact.
Computer Skills
Working knowledge of computer system input, retrieval and use or the ability to learn in a reasonable training period.
Software including: Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project
