Yash Management is looking for a proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and personable Maintenance Technician to manage and execute key maintenance projects and tasks that will ensure profitability and cost efficiency of business operations and optimize the existing tenant experience for Davenport’s leading real estate management group. With over 300+ residential and commercial units in the heart of downtown Davenport (and more in development), Yash Management seeks to make Davenport the best place to live, work, and play.
Responsibilities
Fulfill tenant maintenance requests in a timely and courteous manner
Conduct daily walk-throughs of properties and grounds and resolve property maintenance issues
Maintain and update units and common areas (painting, light plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
Maintain and manage cleanliness and quality of exterior grounds including but not limited to managing cleanliness of dog parks, exterior tenant areas such as patios and grills, trash and pet waste removal, and managing exterior trash
Conduct proactive maintenance of units and common areas in coordination with the Property Manager (e.g., filter changes, snow removal, grounds cleanup, interior unit fixes, etc.)
Track maintenance requests and communicate with tenants via Buildium (Property Management Software) to ensure requests are resolved in a timely manner
Work on strategic projects with Property Management, Accounting, and Housekeeping that will enhance the resident experience
Develop key skills on communication, teamwork, and customer experience
Build a toolset of mature maintenance, capabilities on plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general problem solving
Skills & Qualifications
Driver’s license (required)
US work authorization (required)
Personal vehicle to operate (required)
Good driving record (required)
HVAC certification (nice-to-have)
Strong customer service experience
