Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking to bring on three Maintenance Technicians for our client based out of Kent, WA. Our client is a high volume food production facility that produces bread products both domestically and internationally. This position will be in a food-grade facility that will have you maintaining and repairing production line equipment. Will be working in all specialties, including electrical, PLCs, welding, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and structural. This is a temp-to-hire position.

Compensation: $32 - $33.25/hr, DOE

Location: Kent, WA

Responsibilities:

• Dismantle machinery in order to gain access and then replace/repair defective parts
• Reassemble machinery
• Lubricate and clean mechanisms on the production line
• Conduct inspections on fire systems, freezers, refrigeration systems, etc, and enter information into daily summaries
• Conduct preventive maintenance work on equipment
• Responsible to report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
• Have a basic working knowledge of how to use a computer
• Have Industrial Maintenance Technician experience
• Be able to pass a drug screen and a background check
• Have safety-toed shoes
