Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Do you have Maintenance experience in an industrial environment? We have the job for you! Entry level Maintenance techs please apply willing to train the right candidate.

2nd Shift Maintenance in an industrial environment. Employees could get enrolled at Ivy tech for further training.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Work on automated systems
• Maintaining industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and electronics.
• Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting circuits, lighting systems, transformers and wiring methods/materials
• Install, inspect, maintain, and disassemble industrial machinery
• Repair and replace malfunctioning or broken components
• Replace sensors, cylinders, pneumatics, and other key equipment components
• Maintenance of gearboxes, pneumatics, conveyors and equipment using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring
• Capable of quickly coming up to speed and becoming fully competent in the diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment such as, but not limited to,
  
  

conveyors, presses, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, electrical control systems,

• Performing other general warehouse tasks as assigned
• Attention to details, problem solving and able to read/interpret maintenance documentations
  
  

Requirements

• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
• Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds
• Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods
• Experienced in operating a variety of equipment
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in potentially loud and odorous environments, different physical environments, or in various weather conditions
  
  

Shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am, 2-3-2 rotation which includes every other weekend with possibility for OT

Pay Rate: Starts at $24 to $28 negotiable depending on experience
