Graber Manufacturing, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance, with specific experience in pneumatic air compressors and HVAC systems. This role will primarily focus on preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) inspections on machinery, equipment, and systems, including pneumatic air compressors and HVAC units, according to established schedules.
Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues as needed, including those related to pneumatic air compressors and HVAC systems.
Identify and address potential equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and inventory of supplies.
Collaborate with other maintenance staff to coordinate repairs and maintenance tasks effectively.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a maintenance role, with specific experience in pneumatic air compressors, HVAC systems, and general maintenance.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing equipment and systems.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to maintenance work.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
Stand, walk, climb, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
Comfortable working in various environments, including indoors and outdoors.
