Our client, GEZOLAN, a quality-leading manufacturer of rubber granule solutions for sports and leisure surfaces, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to support the company’s manufacturing location in Buford, GA. The company is the expert in all matters concerning EPDM granules and sports, leisure flooring, and playgrounds.
This is an onsite position and not open for hybrid or remote.
As the plant maintenance manager, you will oversee the maintenance department in alignment with company goals and guidelines. You will build and manage a team of 3 maintenance technicians and are responsible for the implementation of the plant’s Maintenance and Reliability Programs. You will conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot production equipment and infrastructure issues. Furthermore, you will optimize equipment components and production processes and align systems, processes, and tools with corporate standards.
Responsibilities
Developing and implementing schedules and strategies for regular, preventive and corrective maintenance
Optimizing the efficiency and reliability of production processes, methods, labor, energy and equipment
Monitor usage of tools and equipment, recommend replacements when needed
Monitoring the condition of property, facilities and equipment and identifying maintenance needs
Implementing and ensuring a systematic and preventive maintenance of the production equipment and infrastructure facilities to keep them in required technical condition
Planning, coordinating and monitoring the maintenance team’s assignments
Planning, design and implementation of optimization projects and new systems
Optimization of spare parts procurement and storage
Supervise and maintain current the data and processes of the maintenance software
Hands-on repair and maintenance work on production systems and infrastructure as needed
Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation
Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
What We Expect from You
Your experience & education
Proven experience as maintenance Supervisor including in planning of maintenance operations
Technical or mechanical education or equivalent multi-year experience in a manufacturing environment (mechanic, mechatronics, vehicle mechanic, military maintenance, etc.
Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, mechanical, welding, electrical systems etc.
Track-record of hands-on knowledge of facility machines and equipment including tooling.
Experience in the field of control system panels seen as a bonus
Strong Oral & Written Communication Skills
Good math mindset. Understanding of the metric system (weights KG and measuring mm.)
Strong PC-command: Advanced Excel, World & PPT
