Maintenance Supervisor
Primary Responsibilities For The Maintenance Supervisor
Provide Maintenance employees with guidance, direction, and supervision in support of departmental operations.
Promptly address performance issues.
Actively promote all company policies and expectations, especially in support of safety plans and results.
Execute planned and scheduled maintenance operations within assigned area of responsibility.
Maintain a positive work environment by regularly communicating with employees on the shop floor and responding to employee issues and concerns in a timely manner.
Maintain well-organized and productive work areas.
Work with others to achieve department and company goals and objectives.
Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Required for the Maintenance Supervisor
Qualifications
High School Diploma required. Two-year college degree - Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/operational environment. ?
Practical understanding of industrial/maintenance principles, standards, methods and practices.
Knowledge of disciplined problem-solving methods.
Flexibility in terms of shift assignments and/or rotations.
Ability to work extensive hours in support of continuous operations
Working knowledge of (MS Office, Outlook, Work and Excel).
Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.
Ability to work in an industrial environment
Ability to work with associates at various levels of management.
