Align Communities, an entrepreneurial and fast-growing multifamily resident services business based in Winter Park, Florida, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Regional Maintenance Supervisor for our communities in Plant City, FL. With a commitment to excellence, we manage a diverse portfolio of properties, providing top-notch service to our residents.
The Regional Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance operations for a designated region of multi-family properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, a keen eye for detail, and excellent leadership skills to ensure the highest standards of property maintenance and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision and Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians across multiple properties within the region
Provide training and support to maintenance staff, to foster a collaborative work environment
Maintenance Operations
Oversee all aspects of property maintenance, including routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance initiatives
Ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance projects, addressing issues related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
Budget Management
Collaborate with the regional management team to develop and manage the maintenance budget for the assigned properties
Monitor and control expenses, seeking cost-effective solutions without compromising quality
Vendor Management
Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and contractors
Obtain competitive bids for maintenance projects and negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings
Compliance And Safety
Ensure all properties within the region comply with safety regulations and industry standards
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to maintenance operations
Resident Satisfaction
Address resident maintenance requests promptly and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Collaborate with the leasing and management teams to resolve resident concerns related to maintenance
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in property maintenance
Spanish proficiency STRONGLY preferred
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
Proven ability to manage budgets and control expenses
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with relevant local and state regulations related to property maintenance
Effective problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to travel within the designated region as needed
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred).
The Compensation & Schedule
This position offers an annual salary ranging from $65,000-$75,000. Compensation is based on experience and education.
