, Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

Brief overview of the role and its expectations.

  • Pursuing a highly motivated, skilled, and organized maintenance supervisor to join our dynamic maintenance team. Basic responsibilities would include but not limited to: supervising, coordinating, and scheduling maintenance team’s day-to-day maintenance activities of automated processing equipment. Computer skills and knowledge in the use of CMMS are strengths for this individual. This position will be responsible to ensure all equipment functions at peak performance, preventive maintenance measures are performed, and repairs are executed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • 1st Shift Hours:
    • 3 days 9:00 - 5:00pm
    • 2 days 11:00 – 7:00pm.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities

Responsible for:

  • Organizing and assigning workflow of maintenance team.
  • Assessment of team work performance and identification of areas of optimization opportunities.
  • Implementation and maintenance of new CMMS work order & spare parts inventory system.
  • Participate in daily team meetings.
  • Meet and/or exceed business goals, deadlines, and performance standards.
  • Training and onboarding of new hires
  • Maintain and perform basic troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical aspects of all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) on-site, including conveyor systems, sortation, and scale as needed.
  • Supervise and schedule basic building and equipment repairs.
  • Demonstrate mechanical proficiency for hydraulic and pneumatic systems, AC/DC electrical motors, drives, and general mechanical tasks.
  • Troubleshoot various electrical circuits and related electronic equipment, using tools such as multi-meters.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all departments and levels of the organization.
  • Monitor and enforce required safety procedures and the use of Personal Protective
  • Equipment (PPE) Lock Out/Tag Out, Hot Permit, etc.
  • Adhering and enforcing local, state, and federal code and OSHA requirements.
  • Supervise outside contractors performing routine preventative maintenance and emergency service calls,
  • Weekend / off-shift work as needed to support maintenance of material handling equipment with additional compensation
  • Carry out additional projects/tasks as needed.

, Qualifications

  • 5 years of previous experience in supervising and leading a maintenance team, preferably in a distribution center facility.
  • Knowledge of electrical motors and circuits.
  • High level of overall mechanical repair knowledge and experience with conveyor systems, and the ability to perform repairs when needed.
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting MMEH and its peripherals.
  • Spare parts and tool inventory management, equipment maintenance, and basic computer skills required.
  • Advanced time management and problem-solving skills required
  • Ability to communicate with all team members
  • Deals with sensitive information and/or issues using discretion
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift 25 lbs. as necessary for the role

LVMH Inc. uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance and tenure.

While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range $100,000 - $120,000.
