South Bend, IN Hourly Range $28-$37 (based on experience)
Job Brief
This role will specifically focus on ensuring the successful operation of the facility by resolving mechanical issues, identifying quality concerns, and understanding the production threshold of the equipment. This is a full-time hourly position including health, dental, vision, 401(k), vacation and other employee benefits.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot all mechanical problems, repairing and maintaining equipment
Performing preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to identify and correct mechanical defects before they fail.
Perform emergency maintenance on failed equipment
Assist with the shutdown and startup of equipment on shut down projects
Adhere to all OSHA and National Electrical Safety Code regulations and procedures
Installation of various types of equipment
Developing cohesive teams between the operations and maintenance groups to improve reliability
Ability to perform industrial construction activities
Requirements
Two (2) years of on the job experience or equivalent education
Good communication and organizational skills
Experience in industrial mechanical maintenance
Familiar with computerized maintenance managements systems
