POSITION SUMMARY : Repair, rebuild, and maintain production equipment such as lathes, EDM’s, mills, lasers, blenders, air conditioners, swamp coolers, coating/vacuum furnaces and hydraulic presses.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The duties and responsibilities regularly performed for this position are:

• Ability to focus on and complete work as assigned.
• Must have millwright experience
• Ability to use hand and power tools efficiently to complete repair and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot/diagnose problems using symptoms and operator feedback.
• Install precision ball screws and bearings.
• Rebuild pumps (hydraulic and water).
• Replace precision thrust bearings.
• Working knowledge of CMMS.
• Repair Unihone grit blast machines.
• Maintain plant air compressors.
• Rebuild hydraulic cylinders.
• Troubleshoot Vacuum/Coating furnaces.
• Ensures compliance with Company Repair Station Manual (RSM)/Quality Control Management (QCM). Must be aware of ISO/Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) quality requirements.
• Adhere to all Company health, safety and environmental policies while performing job duties.
• Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
  
  

The marginal duties and responsibilities (performed occasionally or at irregular intervals) for this position are :

• Repair laser components.
• Minor electrical tasks.
• Repair furnace components.
• Performing other tasks in the facility as needed.
• Ability to support in Wastewater.
  
  

Education

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE :

The specific EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE requirements of this position are:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Five years’ experience working in the field
  
  

The specific LICENSES and/or CERTIFICATIONS required for this position are:

• Must pass job related test
  
  

The specific SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE required for this position are:

• Able to read, write and communicate in English
• Basic math skills
• Ability to troubleshoot/diagnose.
