Maintenance Engineer

General Summary

A leading Global Automotive OEM company is currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer who will focus on the maintainability and improvement of equipment while leading capital projects in the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages day to day plant maintenance activities with focus on long term reliability improvements
• Assist in maintenance performance (safety, quality of work, efficiency, cost, equipment analysis) utilizing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), defined maintenance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Uses CAD to gather information and design custom alterations to equipment
• Utilizes a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) towards preventative maintenance
• Maintain accurate equipment documentation and update drawings as necessary for modifications
• Provide technical support to Maintenance for equipment repairs and troubleshooting
• Generate and update reports for maintenance engineering activities and area-specific KPIs
• Develop technical specifications for new equipment procurement or existing equipment repairs
• Propose design enhancements to strengthen equipment performance

The Ideal Candidate will have

• Associates Degree - Required. BS Preferred
• Minimum of 3 years experience of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
• Experience with Electrical Equipment (preferred)
