Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise machine shop personnel
Promote a customer-focused culture within the organization
Schedule and prioritize machining jobs
Operate machining tools and machines
Order raw materials
Manage all quality records associated with the shop
Coordinate with Engineering on R&D projects and assist with design reviews
Create simple jigs, fixtures, and tooling needed for the machine
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Supervisory training and/or experience
5 years of experience with setup and operation of CNC machine tools
Ability to multi task
Experience with 3-axis milling is required
Experience with Solidworks or equivalent CAD software is required
Experience with 5-axis milling is preferred
EDM experience preferred
Advanced knowledge of machine tools and the ability to read prints and sketches
