We specialize in developing advanced features through machine learning and generative AI technologies. Our focus includes improving app performance and security. Internships at ByteDance aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2024. Successful candidates must be able to join us in June/July. Please state your availability clearly in your resume (Start date, End date).

Responsibilities:
Develop large language models tailored to specific domains;
Build innovative features using LLM, prompt engineering, or other machine learning technologies;
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Master or PhD program in computer science or a related technical field;
Proficiency in Python and common Python libraries for machine learning and LLM;
Experience with NLP technologies is preferred;
Excellent team communication and collaboration skills.

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $45- $45. We cover 100% premium coverage for Full-Time intern medical insurance after 90 days from the date of hire. Medical coverage only, no dental or vision coverage.
Our time off and leave plans are: Paid holidays and paid sick leave. The sick leave entitlement is based on the time you join.
