Job Description: As an M&A Investment Banking Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in executing mergers and acquisitions transactions for our clients. You will work closely with senior bankers and clients to analyze potential deals, conduct financial modeling and valuation analyses, prepare pitch materials, and manage due diligence processes. Your responsibilities will also include drafting transaction documents, coordinating with legal and accounting teams, and assisting in negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct financial analysis, including building complex financial models and performing valuation techniques.
Prepare presentation materials, pitch books, and confidential information memoranda (CIMs) for clients.
Assist in due diligence processes, including coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Support senior bankers in deal execution, including drafting transaction documents and managing communication with clients.
Perform market research and industry analysis to identify potential M&A opportunities.
Mentor and supervise junior team members, providing guidance on financial analysis and deal execution processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
3-5 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on M&A transactions.
Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in valuation techniques.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and senior management.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
