Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

Number of Weeks: 13

Pay rate: $18-22/Hr.

On Call: $7

Charge Nurse: $3.5

Call Back: 1.5%

Holiday: 1.5%

Patient Diagnoses

  • Community Clinic experience preferred
  • Knowledge of administration - vaccines and injections. Vaccine schedules
  • Average outpatient census 30 patients/per provider (usually one nurse per provider)

  • Lesion removals
  • Administration of vaccines and injections
  • Transmission of maintenance medications
  • Pre-seeing patients - chief complaint
  • review medication and allergies
  • Update PMSH
  • Vitals
  • Vision and Hearing screening
  • Urine dip
  • Blood glucose
  • Neb treatments
  • Various forms
  • triage phone calls
  • faxes
  • Transportation of patients to outpatient services
  • Charting: Meditech

Certifications

  • BCLS
  • Scrubs not provided, can be any color, no obscene images/words or camo; Shoes: no holes, must cover.

Guaranteed Hours

  • 8 Rule: 40.00 hours per 1 week
  • 10 Rule: 40.00 hours per 1 week
  • Comments: Travel/Crisis:
  • 36 hours for 3 12-hour shifts
  • 48 hours for 4 12-hour shifts
  • 40 hours for shifts less than 12 hours.
  • OT after 48 for 48 hour schedules
