Location: 100% Remote, PST hours

Ideally looking for an IT Support specialist who has experience at Diagnostics company to join as an LSA Portal IT Support Specialist. This is 60% technical and 40% customer support/operations. Will be internal customer facing and work with sales/finance teams.

The LSA Portal IT Support is responsible for providing basic IT support for LSA portal applications and provide support to internal clients on how to use business-specific programs or working with other Developers to resolve problems.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Giving instructions to internal clients on how to use business-specific programs or working with other Developers to resolve problems.
  • Write basic SQL query that will help to find information needed to support LSA portal questions.
  • Basic understanding of relational Databases.
  • Collaborate with different departments to manage requested projects, business requirements, and objectives while ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Continually review and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide high level of customer service and partner with end-users in the resolution of problems or in deployment of new applications.
  • Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
  • Great understanding of the company’s contracts language, processes, compliance , payment coupons.
  • Working closely with Contract department to resolve minor data inconsistency for contracts.
  • Participate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of software deliverables.
  • Responding in a timely manner to LSA portal issues and requests.
  • Set up LSA portal user access
  • Interface with decision makers, system owners, and end users to collect, analyze, and document business requirements and then translate those into functional requirements and use cases
  • Testing new adjustment to the LSA portal.
  • Research required data
  • Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables
  • Investigate exceptions with regard to asset movements.
  • Create and update technical and functional documentation. May be asked to participate in enterprise initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

  • An Associate's Degree in Computer Science, from a 4-year college required and/or equivalent 1+ years related experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge in SQL, including writing basic SQL queries
  • An ability to prioritize and delegate.

  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Strong written communication skills to gather information from employees and explain complex technical concepts in simple language
  • Knowledge of Oracle Database is a plus
  • Knowledge of HTML4/5, JavaScript, CSS, XML is a plus.
