The LPN Cares for and treats patients in a medical office, as directed by the provider. Prepares the patient for and assists with examinations. Administers injections and medications, dresses wounds and incisions, interprets physician instructions to patients, assists with emergency and minor surgery and performs related tasks as directed. Under the direction of the physician, the office nurse is responsible for receiving and triaging incoming calls requiring a nurse assessment and intervention. Maintains records of vital statistics and other pertinent patient data. Cleans and sterilizes instruments and equipment and maintains stock of supplies. May conduct specified laboratory tests, may record and develop electrocardiograms, and may act as a receptionist, perform secretarial duties and prepare monthly statements.
Requirements
40 hours per week - First Shift
Valid LPN license in the State of Indiana
BLS/CPR certification required
Physician Office Experience Preferred
