Position Description – Loss Prevention Specialist

Reports to: Strategic Operations Manager

Description

The Loss Prevention Specialist is responsible for counting, documenting and researching discrepancies of company inventory.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Complete daily cycle counts comparing on hand inventory to counts while researching problematic issues.
  • Assist in the company’s full physical inventory as needed.
  • Must be able to use and understand company systems and computer programs. I.E. VIP, email, Excel etc.
  • Properly identify close coded product and accurately record in the company’s route accounting software.
  • Knowledge of supplier specific code dating.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
