Loss Prevention Associate

We are seeking dedicated individuals with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail to join our team as a Loss Prevention Associate for our warehouse operations. The Loss Prevention Associate is an integral part of our commitment to maintaining a secure and safe environment for our personnel, inventory, and facilities. This position involves monitoring and implementing security measures to safeguard against theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.

Security Oversight

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access to the warehouse premises
  • Conduct routine patrols to detect and prevent suspicious activities
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary
  • Investigate and report any security breaches or incidents

Loss Prevention

  • Enforce security policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify vulnerabilities and suggest improvements
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement loss prevention strategies
  • Utilize surveillance equipment to monitor for theft or unauthorized activities

Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively with management regarding security concerns
  • Collaborate with external security services or law enforcement agencies as needed

Emergency Response

  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and alarms
  • Execute emergency procedures to ensure the safety of personnel and assets
  • Provide assistance during evacuations or other crisis situations

Documentation And Reporting

  • Maintain detailed records of security-related activities
  • Prepare incident reports and documentation as required
  • Provide testimony in legal proceedings, as necessary

Training And Awareness

  • Stay informed about current security trends and technologies

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Loss Prevention Associate or in a similar role
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Strong attention to detail and observational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
  • Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
  • Basic computer skills
