The Logistics Compliance Specialist is responsible for facilitating the import and export of goods between countries. This specialist is responsible for ensuring that all logistics import and export operations and processes within a company comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Jinko Solar (U.S.) Industries Inc.’s ideal candidate for the Logistics Compliance Specialist will be proactive, able to work locally and regionally at a fast pace, and have a strong, committed work ethic. This position will report to the Logistics Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinates the trading, importation, and exportation of products and services.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with customs, trade, and other regulatory requirements.

• Monitor shipment status, provide reports, and delivery progress to customers.

• Conduct audits and assessments of logistics operations, import & export activities, and identify compliance issues and areas for improvement.

• Perform international market research to identify foreign laws and regulations as it relates to Jinko’s import and export shipments.

• Analyze and interpret international trade issues, conditions, or events in support of decision-making or policy formulation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate international trade compliance within the business systems or processes.

• Acts as a liaison to logistics team on matters of tariffs, federal and foreign regulations

• Provide weekly updates and/or training on customs, foreign regulations, and international market intelligence.

• Maintain policies and procedures (SOP) related to international trade compliance.

• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, import or export, or customer issues.

• Ensures that all filings, documents, and regulatory reporting are completed accurately, in a timely manner, and according to trade laws.

• Maintain matrix, reports, process documentation, and other data related to all international trade activities.

• Perform all other duties as required.


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or a minimum of 4 years of experience in global logistics, Customs clearance, international trade, purchasing and/or customer service, in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree.

• Working knowledge of US Customs and other Federal laws and regulations.

• Understanding of Incoterms and Harmonized Tariff Schedule.

• Knowledge of Anti-Dumping Duty (ADD/CVD)

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High degree of reliability and integrity; detail oriented

• Skilled in MS Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

• Experienced in ERP Systems, preferably SAP but not required.

• Ability and willingness to travel domestic & international, up to 20%
