Logistics/Order Entry Associate

Our client, a luxury cashmere brand, is seeking a Logistics/Order Entry Associate to join their team in NYC!


Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage orders for products, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Conduct credit checks on customers to evaluate creditworthiness and minimize financial risks.
  • Handle chargebacks and disputes, working towards prompt resolutions with customers and financial institutions.
  • Generate and send invoices to customers, tracking receivables and ensuring timely payments.
  • Monitor factor and retailer websites for updates on orders, payments, and account statuses.
  • Utilize Excel for tracking and analyzing order data, invoices, receivables, and logistics metrics.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers, warehouses, and distribution centers to facilitate smooth order processing and delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to orders, shipments, invoices, and receivables.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve order-related issues and customer inquiries efficiently.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in order entry, credit checks, chargebacks, invoicing, and receivables management.
  • Familiarity with factor and retailer websites for order tracking and management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
  • Experience in the fashion industry or with luxury goods is preferred
