Logistics Manager
Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Director/VP of Business Development
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm CST

The Role
As a Logistics Manager, you'll be our customers' first point of contact and the face of our company. Your responsibilities include:
Building Relationships: Develop, maintain, and manage new client relationships through cold calling and identifying customer needs.
Expanding Business: Research leads and build a comprehensive Book of Business.
Effective Communication: Maintain communication with customers and other departments.
Driving Business: Prospect, source, and penetrate accounts to drive new business.
Innovative Solutions: Develop creative solutions to generate new business opportunities.
Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with carrier management and operations to ensure efficiency, affordability, and flexibility for customers.
Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma required.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer-facing logistics sales role.
Experience in transportation and logistics.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
An existing Book of Business is a plus.
Ability to negotiate effectively and cold call.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency with computer programs and navigating various sites.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Capability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize duties.
Self-motivated and strong negotiation skills.
A customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to customer retention.
Personal ownership and accountability.
Work Environment
This is an office-based role, requiring regular use of computers, telephones, and other office equipment.
Must be able to sit and stand for long periods and lift 25 lbs. with or without assistance.
Ability to work in front of a computer screen for extended periods.
Effective Telephone And Email Communication Skills Are Essential.
