Responsibilities:

• Ability to problem solve.

• Proven experience in food transportation and strong experience in seasonal fulfillment both dry and temperature control cargo to big box retailers working with 3 PL’s.

• Develop improvements in processes to provide excellent services to customers at competitive costs.

• Manage bidding process with outside carriers including global logistics for in bound and domestic carriers for out bound transportation.

• Must be able to plan, schedule, monitor, direct and execute shipping activities.

• Should be familiar with SQF/ BRC protocols

• Must be able read, write and speak English

• Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or relevant field.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

• In-depth knowledge of the consumer goods industry.

• Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.

• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
