Logistics Coordinator

Your activities

  • Monitors and manages inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials for production.
  • Conducts regular inventory audits and reconciles discrepancies.
  • Maintains accurate inventory records in our ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Coordinates the receipt of incoming materials, verifying quantities and quality.
  • Prepares and processes outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
  • Organizes and maintains the warehouse for efficient storage and retrieval of materials and products.
  • Operates forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
  • Implements and upholds safety standards and protocols within the warehouse.
  • Collaborates with the production team to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Performs packaging to ensure product is protected during transport.
  • Inspects labeling to ensure documents and product information.
  • Performs transactions in D365 to complete shipping process inventory and warehouse.
  • Processing shipping orders thru a freight forwarder and shipping transport
  • Completes necessary documentation for foreign trade and customs classification and bills of lading.
  • Coordinates designation, shipping methods, and special instruction with Sales Team.
  • Performs receiving functions in support of procurement, and Quality returns.
  • Assists in picking, stocking and other shipping related duties as required.
  • Inventory counting adjustments for Raw Material movement.
  • Tagging and labeling raw material and parts for certification and traceability
  • Performs ancillary duties as needed.

Your profile

  • College degree preferred
  • Forklift License Preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Office must be proficient in Excel and Word.
  • Business writing skills required.
  • Experience with UPS/Fed-Ex/Ltl shipping
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to analyze problems and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to use mathematical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to solve work related problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of the shipping processes, procedures, and software.
  • Able to work in a busy environment.
