As a Logistics Coordinator, you'll work closely with our client’s Logistics Supervisor to orchestrate the movement of vessels, barges, and trucks. Your efforts will directly impact the efficiency and success of our client’s terminal operations, making you an invaluable asset to our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Seamless Marine Coordination: Collaborate with customers, vessel agents, barge companies, and terminal operations to ensure smooth product flow through our terminal, optimizing operational efficiency.
• Daily Updates: Provide timely updates to terminal management, staff, customers, agents, inspectors, and surveyors about vessel and barge schedules for the upcoming week.
• Scheduling Management: Communicate with vessel agents and barge companies to arrange and confirm arrival and departure times, ensuring all documentation is in order 72 hours prior to berthing.
• Documentation Handling: Prepare and manage vessel folders for all dry operations, ensuring accurate information capture and distribution.
• Dock Utilization: Maximize dock usage and work closely with accounting to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing.
• Contract Administration: Oversee contracts for dry and liquid bulk customers, managing the Tweigh Truck Loading software and daily truck loading operations.
• Inventory Updates: Maintain up-to-date records of truck BOLs and dry truck volumes, ensuring a holistic understanding of supply chain and inventory management.

Requirements:

• Logistics/ Scheduling experience- preferably in the marine industry
• Problem solver mindset
• Rotating 12-hour shift work. Nights/ Weekends/ Holidays
• Microsoft Office Experience- Basic Excel skills
• Communication skills
• No Relocation provided.
