Logistics Coordinator

Position: Logistics Assistant

Location: Midtown, NYC (Hybrid)

Salary: 50-65k base + Bonus + Benefits

Industry: Chemicals

Responsibilities:

• Complete purchase orders

• Coordinate best shipping schedules for customers.

• Contact customers to confirm delivery date and address.

• Forward the shipping documents to custom brokers and customers

• Coordinate with the forwarding agent and provide accurate, up to date

• Enter the daily PO transactions into the system

• Prepare proper invoice for billing to the customers

• Monitor consignment inventory carefully

• Issuing Purchase Orders, send Invoices and Purchase Orders,

• Upgrade Logistics Systems by developing SAP or SAGE process

• Ensure all customers support done correctly and on timely basic.

Skill Requirements:

• Computer literacy and the ability to use various specialist applications

• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.

• Japanese skill is a big plus
