A day in the life:
Prepare / Process Bills of Lading
Accrue Freight due to vendors timely and accurately
Manage change in route or customer as needed
Daily follow up on Delayed and Late shipments
Assist Sales and Customers with providing Eta’s on shipments in route
Build relationships and show confidence with Sales, Customers and Vendors
Assume additional responsibilities and provide department back-up when needed
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
Bachelor’s degree required
1-2 years of logistics experience required
Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Excel
Deadline-oriented with problem-solving skills
High attention to detail, organized, and communicative
Compensation and Benefits:$25 per hour
