Reliable of Milwaukee designs, sources and distributes headwear, footwear and accessories for a variety of retail levels. Our biggest and best known brand is Muk Luks. We are currently looking to fill the position of Logistics Coordinator at our office location in Milwaukee Wisconsin.

Position Overview

• The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting the logistics team and coordinating all activities related to international freight moves. Serves as the primary interface between Reliable of Milwaukee and our international freight forwarder. We are seeking a highly detail oriented associate who thrives in a fast paced team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

·        Coordinate international transportation moves in the most efficient, cost effective and compliant manner.

·        Create and maintain logistics and transportation reporting and analysis.

·        Prepare/gather all necessary transportation documents required to process international freight moves.

·        Provide logistics updates to all internal and external parties as required.

·        Read, understand and execute numerous customer routing guides.

·        Ensure freight forwarder is executing all international freight moves/deliveries in accordance with customer requirements.

·        Provide support for 3PL Coordinator and other departments as needed.

·        Evaluate freight KPIs and assist management to develop and evaluate relationships with logistics service providers, focusing on continuous process improvement, create best practice processes and improve customer on time delivery service.

·        Solicits and prepares transportation quotes and works closely with AP to reconcile freight invoices.

Qualifications

·        High school diploma or equivalent

·        3-5 years’ experience in transportation and logistics

·        Bachelor’s degree in International Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred

·        Experience working with a 3PL is a preferred

·        Solid foundation of transportation principles including thorough knowledge of how to execute all types of international freight moves. fundamental packing/loading standards, and shipper/carrier/consignee expectations

·        Strong problem solving and analytical skills

·        Ability to organize, multi-task, plan and set priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision while maintaining strong attention to detail

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to communicate with both internal and external customers

·        Work with a consistent sense of urgency

• Able to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations
• Ability to positively partner and work closely with diverse personalities internally and externally

·        Competent user of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically excel

·        Working knowledge of database and ERP systems a plus
