Selected as a Top Workplace in Philadelphia for 15 consecutive years and headquartered in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania, Movers Specialty Service (MSS) is seeking a full-time Logistics Coordinator to support our Account Executive team and their external contractors who provide various logistic services. The Logistics Coordinator will confirm all services requested are properly carried out with respect to time parameters, technical procedures, customer service and pricing. This position requires highly organized coordination, rapid response follow-up, superior problem solving skills and creativity to satisfy both customer needs and MSS business requirements in a high-volume work environment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Prioritizing orders and selecting approved service providers to fulfill each order.
  • Communicating specific order requirements with provider and scheduling service.
  • Analyzing cost of services and assigning appropriate pricing as required.
  • Documenting and entering order information and completing all required paperwork.
  • Confirming appointments and services while responding to any issues.
  • Adjusting daily orders and providing work schedules as needed in a timely manner.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with primary service specialist.
  • Researching and engaging new service providers as needed using a variety of resources.
  • Conducting and recording customer feedback surveys.
  • Updating and maintaining the service provider database as changes occur.


Requirement:

  • At least one year experience in work scheduling, dispatching or high-volume customer service is desired.
  • Logistics coordination is highly valued.
  • Must be able to work core hours of Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm EST.
  • Basic math skills needed to determine job costing, discounting and calculating profit margins are required.
  • Ability to obtain detailed knowledge of services and technical applications.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively work from home. In-office and hybrid is available if preferred.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree desired.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office is required. Advanced MS Excel skills are preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment a must.
  • Ability to interact daily with both clients and contractors on problem solving a must.
  • Bilingual, Spanish speaking a plus.
