Logistics Coordinator

Ella bay Logistics is seeking an individual with relevant experience and skills to join our team of transportation and logistics professionals. The candidate must possess strong communication and multi-tasking skills to assist in daily workflow. Providing excellent customer service is essential in the position.

The ideal candidate should be able to obtain detailed dispatch specifications from customers, perform load planning, coordinate load assignments, monitor various shipping boards, monitor driver's locations, and perform accurate data entry.

Responsibilities to include:

• Coordinate and monitor truckload transportation activities by maintaining communication between carriers, vendors, and customers.
• Onboarding of new carrier partners and development of existing carrier relationships.
• Negotiations and dispatching of carrier partners on key customer lanes.
• Scheduling pick-up and delivery appointments.
• Handling of high phone call and email volume from customers and carriers.
• Identification and solving of both existing and potential problems on customer shipments resulting in the quickest and safest delivery of products.
• Data and Load entry

Skill Requirements:

• Minimum 1 Year Logistics and Supply Chain experience
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Bi-Lingual preferred
