Logistics Coordinator

Overview:

The Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing and facilitating supply chain operations, with the primary objective of ensuring timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of goods. This position is central to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Proactive communication and transparency with stakeholders, particularly customer-facing teams, are essential to preemptively address issues and avoid surprises. The Logistics Coordinator is expected to take a proactive approach in managing shipments, solving problems, and continuously improving our logistics processes to meet and exceed service standards. This role is based at our Headquarters in San Clemente, CA, and involves travel to our Warehouse in Fontana, CA.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate all aspects of shipment, including documentation, booking, and tracking, for both domestic and international freight.
• Regularly communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure shipment accuracy and timeliness.
• Utilize and maintain logistics software and databases for reporting and decision-making purposes.
• Analyze shipment data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
• Skills and Qualifications
• Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably with international shipping.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles, incoterms, and HTS codes is advantageous.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a customer-centric mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
• The Logistics Coordinator will have a pivotal role within our logistics department. You’ll collaborate closely with our Inside Sales team, Operations team, and Shipping Coordinator to uphold operational excellence and enhance customer satisfaction.
