Logistics Assistant

Our client, an activewear and loungewear apparel brand, is searching for a Logistics Assistant located on-site at their New York City Location. From fleece to activewear to sleep, our client provides the best apparel needs for everyone. Our client’s priority is to continue creating items, focused on emphasizing inclusivity, variety, and comfort.

You will be responsible for all clerical work on inbound shipments and purchase orders, ensure the team can operate smoothly and all details are entered and maintained properly in our ERP system. The ideal candidate will exhibit attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, prioritize daily tasks along with strong computer skills. An ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role. This person will be responsible for the proper organization of our purchase order and inventory records which is crucial to the company's success.

Responsibilities

• Handle, coordinate and maintain open purchase orders and overseas inbound shipments coming to our warehouses and shipments going directly to Amazon
• Update and maintain the following records in Netsuite: POs, inbound shipments, Amazon shipments
• Communicate directly with internal teams as well as external suppliers, freight forwarders and warehouses to manage all shipments
• Must work and communicate well with cross functional teams to ensure all steps are being followed
• Ensure file organization based on office protocol
• Provide ad hoc support around office as needed Requirements
• 2+ years in a similar role with data management and organizational tasks
• Logistics experience preferred but not required
• Netsuite experience preferred but not required
• Strong Microsoft excel skills
• Highly organized
• Motivated
• Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
