As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the transportation and delivery of goods from their origin to their final destination. This role involves working with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to ensure efficient logistics operations. Success in this role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.

Roles And Responsibilities -

  • Schedule transportation and oversee the movement of goods to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to arrange pickups and deliveries, and resolve any transportation issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to optimise stock levels and prevent stockouts.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
  • Use logistics software and systems to track shipments, generate reports, and analyse performance metrics.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the supply chain.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and handling issues that arise during transit.

Must-Have Qualifications -

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and logistics processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills for navigating unforeseen supply chain challenges.
  • Dedication to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder with W2 work authorization.
