Logistics Analyst

The Logistics Analyst at Astral Health & Beauty plays a key role in optimizing our supply chain and ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of our beauty products to customers and retail partners. This role is responsible for analyzing and improving logistics processes, managing inventory levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall operational efficiency. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor USPS, UPS and FedEx performance and address areas of concern.
• Negotiate, secure, maintain and manage all outside carriers for all cross docks and subsidiaries.
• Address regional transit delays for both inbound and outbound shipments.
• Audit and manage all invoices from carriers to enforce and support agree upon rates for all lanes.
• Create and book all inbound and outbound shipments (retail partners, contract manufacturers and suppliers).
• Maintain data to supply needed analysis from Brokerage, revenue, cost, and profitability.
• Proactively identify and correct shipment exceptions.
• Act as point of contact for Sales and internal teams for shipping questions and issues.
• Leverage reporting to identify expedited shipping trends and drive efforts to minimize.
• Partner closely with 3PL Shipping and Receiving teams to ensure operational alignment.
• Be curious: investigate current processes and methods and recommend areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain reporting to measure performance and track KPIs.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Clear inbound international shipments with customs.
• Fill out Commercial invoices and customs documents for Outbound International shipments.
• Enter and monitor all outbound international orders.
• Receive inbound shipments into system.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• Very strong data management (expert-level Excel, report building, data manipulation; experience with Sage X3 a plus).
• Proven analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly.
• Well versed in FIFO and Lot Tracking.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to balance and prioritize work.
• Must be diligent in keeping sensitive data confidential.
• Outstanding eye for detail.
• Experience supporting the close process (month, quarter, and year-end).
• Ability to identify and resolve operational problems.
• Ability to achieve results by establishing strong partnerships and relationships.
• Alignment to short-term and long-term departmental plans for business and organizational priorities.
• Ability to craft compelling communications from metrics and opportunities to leadership.
