Local Franchise Marketing Manager

The Local Franchise Marketing Manager will support local marketing efforts executed by the ServiceMaster Clean franchisees. In this role you will drive brand awareness, franchisee engagement, and support revenue growth. You will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to execute effective marketing campaigns and initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure franchisees are spending their required local marketing spend in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
  • Work with brand marketing team to plan, align and activate local franchise efforts to the overall brand marketing strategy.
  • Consult and liaise with franchise organizations to enable effective execution and maximization of marketing programs such as co-ops.
  • Facilitate local activation of We Serve through locally held events i.e., golf outings, 5k runs, etc.
  • Educate and train the franchise network on various aspects of marketing to help gain full effectiveness of their marketing spend.
  • Act as a liaison between franchisees and the brand marketing team to facilitate requests and support local marketing efforts.
  • Work directly with franchisees to develop appropriate marketing KPIs for their business.
  • Provide reporting to franchisees and brand leadership on approved marketing budgets and current spend pace.
  • Build reports and communicates the approved marketing budget and current spend pace to the Marketing leadership team.
  • Work with the brand marketing team to cascade the national strategy to local franchisees.
  • Identify and aid in the implementation of marketing opportunities based on network performance and success.
  • Promote best practices on marketing spends and staffing to support location growth objectives.
  • Understand the local B2B sales cycle and coordinate marketing activities to deliver qualified leads to the local sales representative.
  • Provide ongoing consultation with franchisees regarding local advertising initiatives and spending.
  • Monitor, track and follow up on assigned initiatives or action plans.
  • Assist other marketing team members with any projects identified as a key focus, demonstrating flexibility and positive attitude in embracing sometimes quickly changing priorities, responding to incoming requests, and responding to franchise requests, calls, and emails within 24 hours.

  • Must be results oriented, a self-starter, and have strong initiative.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
  • 2 - 3 years of experience managing projects or initiatives
  • 2 - 3 years of experience developing and providing training and counseling

Work Location:

This role is 100% remote with up to 10% travel expected.
