Responsibilities
Update data fields in the servicing system to ensure compliance and accuracy for various special loan products.
Conduct research and implement system changes promptly in response to requests from investors, customers, or internal departments.
Manage adjustable rate mortgage (ARM) contracts and maintain ARM indices in the servicing system to facilitate accurate payment calculations.
Audit pending payment changes to verify accuracy and ensure timely notifications.
Support Home Retention/Loss Mitigation teams with modification-related inquiries.
Evaluate loans for Service Members Civil Relief Act (SCRA) protection eligibility and update systems accordingly.
Process assumption requests, prepare assumption packages, and collaborate with mortgage lending division on approval updates.
Review and process HAMP modifications including principle reduction and recast eligibility.
Monitor and complete 203k loan processes for loans acquired by the company.
Identify policy and procedural gaps, providing recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
1-2 years of experience in mortgage servicing.
Familiarity with special loan products and related documentation preferred.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and make informed decisions.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
