What You'll Do

As a Loan Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact throughout the loan process, effectively managing communication between clients, brokers, and our company. Your role will involve setting timelines, coordinating with various stakeholders, collecting necessary documents, conducting due diligence searches, and facilitating third-party reports to ensure a seamless closing process. Additionally, you'll engage with preliminary title reports and ensure compliance with the Credit and Closing Checklist in our loan operating system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main liaison between clients, brokers, and the company throughout the loan process
  • Set and manage timelines for all involved parties to ensure smooth closing processes
  • Correspond with clients, escrow/title companies, and insurance companies to gather required documentation and coordinate closings
  • Review and upload all required items to the company's loan operating system, following the Credit and Closing Checklist
  • Handle preliminary title reports and conduct due diligence searches on borrowers, guarantors, and businesses
  • Coordinate third-party reports, including appraisal reports, environmental assessment reports, business valuations, and site inspections

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in SBA loan processes
  • Understanding of SBA eligibility and guidelines
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn new software and systems for loan processing
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation

Salary range: $60,000-$80,000/year, depending on experience
