LOA/Benefits Administrator
You are a dedicated and experienced LOA/Benefits Administrator who will be responsible for managing the leave of absence (LOA) processes, with a particular focus on California LOAs, as well as administering employee benefits. This role requires a strong understanding of complex LOA regulations, current benefits administration practices, and proficiency with UKG software.
This position pays: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
Location: Remote
What you will be doing:
- Process and manage all types of LOAs, including but not limited to FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and other state-specific leaves.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state leave laws, particularly the complexities of California LOAs.
- Maintain accurate records of LOA requests, approvals, and denials, ensuring timely communication with employees and managers.
- Provide guidance and support to employees throughout the LOA process, ensuring they understand their rights and responsibilities.
- Manage benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Liaise with benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Utilize UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) software for managing LOA and benefits processes.
- Maintain and update employee records in UKG, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Generate reports and analyze data from UKG to support HR decision-making and compliance.
What you bring:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in LOA processing and benefits administration.
- Strong understanding of California LOA laws and regulations.
- Proven experience with UKG software is essential.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing and record-keeping.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and HRIS systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) are a plus.
