Live Video Editor (Off-Broadway)

BroadwayWorld.com New York, NY

Stalker, an innovative 90-minute magic show by Swedish duo Peter Brynolf and Jonas Ljung, directed by Eurovision mastermind Edward Af Sillén is premiering Off-Broadway this Spring at New World Stages. Fast-paced street magic, physical mentalism, and social hacking combine with live cameras and audience participation to lead to a climactic plot twist that you’ll never see coming.

Making use of 6 live cameras (4 mounted, 2 manually operated) the Production is seeking a Live Video Editor to join the run crew for the full run (March 11 - September 1st). As Video Editor, your responsibilities will center around maintaining continuous video playout, editing captured footage for playback, and contributing to the overall visual storytelling process of the production. Working closely with our Magician Duo, you’ll play a crucial part in the success of the magic trick reveals, editing specific audience reactions and showcasing specific moments and angles throughout the production.

Your role involves mixing and cueing live video through a video desk, editing video into content for a dramatic reveal, and collaborating with camera production, ensuring that technical elements align seamlessly with the creative vision of the show. If you demonstrate a deep understanding of both the technical and creative facets of video editing and mixing, possess a keen eye for detail, are able to respond quickly to directions and problem solve on your feet, and have a deep passion for maintaining the highest standards in theatrical production, we encourage you to apply.
